I recently both a Zire 72 and quite happy with it. A member of the family happens to be using a TE too. Problem is that the Zire 72 AC Adapter is rated at 5.2V while the TE is 5.0V. Are they interchangeable?

Both uses the same tiny DC plug and are too similar that it's easy to mix the two up. Someone told me that plugging a 5.0V adapter into a 5.2V device will not do match harm but that the opposite is not true. Is he correct?

I suppose it won't do any harm

gadgetguru - actually, the Tungsten E that I've got - i got 3 of them - have different adaptors.

There is one rated at 5.0V 1A, one rated at 5.5V 500mA, and another rated 5.2V 800mA. I wonder why but they all worked fine on all three of my units ( well at least me and my dad and my auntie wasn't complaning about the battery )
