Hi there,

I'm new in Palm world.
I'm using a Palm T|T, with Mac 10.3.3
I read ebooks with TiBR and found that some file name of ebooks is DIFFERENT than the Title of them, MAY I CHANGE THEM? HOW?

Thanks

I found I could change titles with eReader, but it's not stable on the Palm, and the Mac version hasn't got that option. The other way I know of is to use Norton Disk Editor X, but that 's a lot of trouble to go to. If no better answer comes up here, try the Brighthand forums.

It depends on what you mean by "them" and on who owns the copyright to the book ...

1. You _can_ change the filename all you want using any file access that allows it.
2. You _can_ change the title, something totally unrelated to the file name as far as the file and the eBook reader are concerned, several ways.
3. You _may_ do this iff the book is in the public domain.

What method works for changing the title depends on the format of the eBook (compression, DRM, ...). The best method is usually to use a utility that opens the eBook as pure text and then use a utility to rebuild the eBook with the title you desire. If the book is a plain PalmDOC, utilities like Word2Doc can do this easily.
