Hello. Yesterday (May 2) I installed Wifile to try it. I believe that it is the last version (version 1.0) of HandsHigh. When beginning it it indicates me:

"This beta version of WiFile has expired. Get the latest version at www.handshigh.com"

Then I can copy files from and to network without problems, but when trying to open them the following error appears:

""Exchange library ´WiFileExgLib´ not found. Some functions will not work until library is installed on PDA"

However that file is installed (I see it with MacFile and with FileZ)

Some idea about this problem?
Am I installing it bad?
A later version exists to try it? Where can I get it?
Some solution?

Thank you to all

It´s a programam to get connect to network from your palm (if it have bt or lan acces). You can copy files from net to palm or from palm to network. Also you can open files (doc, jpg, etc) directly from the net on your palm, make modifications and save again in the network. -last week I can do all. Since yesterday I can copy but not open directly fron net... see my original post. Thanks

kapeniak, I have exactly the same problem. I emailed Handshigh tech support, and they sent me some new files to install (version 1.01 Trial). Unfortunately, these did not solve the problem. I've emailed them again with a detailed description of everything I did and observed, and will keep you posted on whatever I hear from them. I certainly want to make sure this functionality works before plopping down $30 for this program!

Thank´s GrayLock. After your answer I installed the version 1.01 and neither it solved the problem. WiFile is an interesting program but you are right: I want to make sure this functionality works before plopping down $30 . If you have news of HandsHigh you warn me. Thank you.:)

I see PalmGear has just dropped the price to $19.95! Hmmm....

Well, good news, Alejandro! I finally broke down and decided to go for PalmGear's $20 offer. I downloaded a fresh version (1.01) from the HandsHigh site, entered the registration code, and now I can open Word docs and Excel files directly from the network using Docs to Go (Premium version 6.008). There must be something wrong with the trial version (even when I entered my registration code into the trial version, it did not work).

As noted in the documentation, however, you cannot save directly back to the network from within Docs to Go. You must save to an expansion card and then upload the file to the server from within WiFile. Hopefully direct saves will be supported in a future version.

Not to say all is perfect, however. I've encountered some sporadic crashes, most of which seem to be related to attempting to open *.txt files from the network. The manual states this is possible (using the built-in MemoPad), but it doesn't work on my T3, and seems to crash the unit. It may be that the new Memos application that comes on the T3 is incompatible. This is not a big deal for me, though. I was mostly interested in opening Word and Excel docs.
