The Martin Fields Overlay Plus (http://www.palmonecity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2516) screen protector is excellent. I just got mine today so it took about a week to ship from Singapore to the Washington, DC area.

It took much trial and error in applying the overlay to my Tungsten T3 screen, but here are a few tips. (I am not responsible for any damage caused by these tips. This is just advice given in good faith.)
Keep everything dust free. Try to work someplace where dust won't be a big problem. The static-cling side of this protector attracts dust like crazy. Being the anal-retentive perfectionist that I am, I would've preferred to have a clean-room, or at least a chemistry fume-hood. :p Alas, I did not have any of those things so I just had to try and try again.
To remove the screen (if you need to re-align, clean, and re-apply), use clear packing tape. I recommend 3M or a similarly high-quality brand of packing tape. Just stick it on the screen, rub around just enough to get adhesion, and gently pull the overlay off the screen. This way, you won't risk scratching the screen with a tool trying to pry off the overlay.
To get dust off of the overlay, use clear packing tape. Use the tape to pull of any dust you find on the underside (the side that's meant to cling to the screen) of the overlay. I don't know why, but the packing tape does not stick as well to the underside as it does to the face side. That's good for us, though, because all we want to do is peel off the dust.

I hope these tips help you apply the Martin Fields Overlay Plus with more ease. :)

My 2cents worth.

Screen Protector (.008 thick)

Here's my experience with this idea. I've been using the Walmart clear vinyl for about 3 years now... with my m505, T665 and now my T3.

I use the medium grade (.008 thick) it is perfect. Its easy to put on because it was thick enough not to flop around. A few more bubbles than the thickest grade but still easy to get out. Graffiti recognition is flawless. I usually use a credit card to smooth out the bubbles but sometimes that scratches the plastic if there are burrs on the edge of the card.

As far as replacement, I replace the plastic whenever the graffiti area gets cloudy from all my writing. It usually takes about 4 months or so to get that way. The plastic is still good but I just replace it for looks.

I made 2 cardboard masters 2 3/16 x 3 1/2 to cut around. I line up one master above the plastic vinyl and one master below the plastic. I make sure they are perfectly lined up on each other and pinch or hold them together very tightly as I cut the plastic around the masters with a scissors. It comes out perfect every time and is so quick and easy.

I apply it just like the other people who have posted here. I always wash my hands and the screen protector with soap and water before I apply it to my screen to make sure there are no fingerprints or dust. I apply it at a table in a place in my home were there is no draft or dust flying around.

Heres the best part. I got a piece of vinyl 3 feet x 3 feet for less then a dollar!
