I am building a cable to connect my pharos iGPS-180 to my Clie T665C. I would like to be able to power the pair from an external battery pack with 4 AA batteries. The external connector spec for the clie says pin 10 is UNREG_OUT (power supply). I have measured this as the same voltage as the battery (around 4.1 when fully charged). Does any one know the current limit on that pin?

If the pin has a current limit of 200 mA then I wont need to build a voltage regulator to lower the 4 AA voltage from 6 volts to 5 volts, but will be able to use the output voltage from pin 10, while pins 7 and 8 get changed from the battery pack.

Sony tells in the Interface Connector Specifications (you can get get them as a developer):

"10 UNREG_OUT
Provide unregulated power supply (no link to the power button of the main unit)

5.5~3.4V Max. 100mA
Desired value on design: 3.4 ~ 5.2V with the allowance ±0.3V. 3.4 ~ 4.2V if no AC adaptor is connected.
It can drop down to 3.1V when the battery gets exhausted. It remains below 3.4V at the time the "low battery" warning shows up."
