To All,

I recently had one of those white screen of death crashes that required the total depletion of power.

I then restored the Original ROM backup made in the 1st step of Jack Sprat (the latest beta version) once I recovered.

I then overwrote that original w/a more recent ROM image courtesy of JS & I hadn't moved the original to a separate directory as I did b4 (the WSOD happened late & I didn't get much sleep...)

Can one put JSprat onto the \Palm\Launcher directory of my 256Mb SD card & then insert it into another T3 & from there get a 'clean' original ROM image for one of those 'just in case' scenarios, or must it be run fm the same machine w/the same Serial Number etc.?

If so, I have a 3d party program that allows change of this info, so it seems I should be able to get around that issue.

Please advise.

TIA,

tpipher

I too screwed up my backup of my t3, I took a deep breath and copied my wifes backup (t3 also) onto my card and used it and it worked fine.

To All:

I heard fm Brayder tech supp that you need to save the Flash Write file that is generated fm your own handheld, save it to a diff directory & then do the backup of a T3 w/the original ROM & DO NOT USE the Flash Write generated by this ROM backup; but the one you saved before & then restore.
