Resetting T3 to Factory settings

I would like to clear out the junk accumulated on my palm, I have read all the details on performing a hard reset to wipe every thing clean. Can anyone advise me on the backup files for preferences (network, connections ect) as I am loathed to have to re-enter all the information from scratch.

It seems that the 'initial setup' pref settings are simple & quick enough to fix.

Beyond that I'm thinking, but not sure, that if you restore the saved prefs file & then use some sort of Uninstaller program to get rid of the resulting orphans - file settings added on install of app - but the .prc is not present you will then be able to get what you need while getting rid of the leftover trash.
