I'm assuming that you're looking for an IR driver for that phone since it doesn't have bluetooth, but it doesn't need a driver. I use mine as an IR modem with my T3 all the time, you just have to set up a profile for it in the palm and it works fine.

I have been working on this project for 3 days. Please tell me what is the profile you set up. I would very much appreciate a walk thru from begining to end.

OK...I'll do my best to make this process as easy as possible. The first thing you need is a dial-up account to actually access the net from your palm. Make sure you have trhe info from this account handy.

These instructions should work with almost any compatible IR phone actually, since you'll just be telling the palm that it's looking for an IR modem.

Step 1
-Go to preferences and select Connections
-Select "New..."
-Name this connection profile whatever you want
-In the "Connect to:" box, select "Modem"
-In the "Via:" box select "Infrared"
-"Dialing" and "Volume" should be "Touchtone" and "Low"
-Your profile is now done.

Step 2
-Go to the "Network" option in prefs.
-Name the service whatever you want
-put the username and password from your dial-up account in the appropriate boxes
-in the connection box, choose the connection setup you made from the previous step (i hope you remember what you called it)
-put the dial-up phone number in the "Phone:" box.

The end. If you want to test the connection, switch on the phone's IR and, while still in the Network section of preferences (with your new network selected) tap the "Connect" button. The palm should now connect to the phone and the internet.

See, that wasn't so hard now was it? It almost killed me trying to figure that out when I was trying to get it working. A word of caution...I don't know who your provider is, but if it's Cingular like me, you're going to need to have their internet/data plan ($4.95 a month) to be able to use the phone as a modem. Their service can detect data calls and will not let them go through unless you have this option activated on your service.
