I am periodically getting fatal errors when I remove my T3 from the cradle. I have rebuilt the durn thing 3 times. It SEEMS to be random. When it starts happening 3 things change. 1. I lose ability to see programs that begin with B and M. EVEN ONES IN FLASH RAM! 2. I keep all my sounds off and when this starts the sound is re-enabled and makes a funny little squeak sound. 3. Once it fails the first time it will loop in FATAL ERROR constantly unless I hold the 5 way up.
Any suggestions would be lovely.

Right, I had a similar problem - something I installed clashed with something I had.
Luckily I had a backup made with BackupMan before the offending item was installed. The HotSync kept installing it and crashing the Palm.
What to do:
OK, you need to Hard Reset (hold up as you have done) then go to your Palm folder on the PC, normally C:\Program Files\Palm and go to the Backup folder. Then hunt through it and delete the file you think may be causing the crash. Then HotSync.
ALTERNATIVELY:
Go to Palm Desktop, export your Datebook, Contacts and Memo files. Hard Reset the Palm (up). Start again as a different Hotsync ID, importing the Datebook, Contacts and Memo files back into Palm Desktop for the new HSID. This is a bit extreme, but at least it is garaunteed.
Final Note:
Just a quick one, I am hoping that these crashes are a result of something you installed. You mentioned the Flash Ram, did you install / delete something using Jacksprat / Jackflash? If this is the case you may want to restore the original Rom files. Try the other two methods first tho.
Hope this helps, let us know!

WOW! I have seen you helping so many people. You are a good person. I will have a go at this. I have BackupMan backups as well and I use Uninstall. I just don't have a clue which are in conflict. The problem takes a while to appear and only seems to start after I have 40 or more programs in. Guess the culprit is in the last group. I will start chasing though and I thank you. I have another clue. When this starts both 300Bowl and ChessMaster start to Fatal Error also. Go figure!
BTW what programs were in conflict for you?

Thanks for the words!
The confilct I had - my own fault, I should have thought first - was when I installed Datebk5 without taking Agendus off first. The two competed for the same resources.
Good luck on the hunt for the killer app.
