Recently I've found that my contact list has some inaccuracies.

A person from one contact record also shows up on a record that they shouldn't be on.

i.e. John Smith from Company A also shows up on Company X with a correct Company X email address.

Has anyone noticed this sort of issue ?

I'm just using the T3 Contacts program.

I had some issues with Outlook 2003 syncing some doubled contacts, but nothing where the contacts got changed and/or duplicated like that. You should definitely contact PalmOne support on this one. Post any solutions you get, this is a scary issue.

Here's the reply from Palm (See text in *'s below). I only use one Palm device with only one (unique) username. I've already updated the T3 as much as is possible. They already know this. I'm not going to waste time and money on a phone call.
E-mail is supposed to be an easy way to communicate and respond to problems. This is a fluff answer and very unimpressive.

With regards to your issue, make sure that you are hotsyncing to a unique username. Using the same username for two different models will cause errors such as what you are experiencing.
If you are using a unique username please try an update for the Tungsten T3. This can be found at www.palmone.com/us/support/tungstent3 Scroll down the page and click on the update pertaining to your issue.
For additional assistance please call your local Palmone Technical Support hotline.
For Australia customers please dial toll free 1800 350 535

Palm Desktop has an option to repair corrupt Datebook databases. I wonder if this also exists for the Contacts ?

I had the same thing happen with my T3 (syncing with OLXP). I have no idea of the cause. I have learned to not waste my time with emails to PalmOne Support. Whoever is on the receving end of emails either doesn't read the question, doesn't know the answer or flat out doesn't care. Unfortunately, I suspect the latter. :(
