Speedy 3.4 vs. Benchmark

On Benchmark it says that my Zire is 2x faster than a Palm Vx.

On Speedy it says that it is 6x faster.

Can anyone explain this?

Here's an answer that someone told me:

All new pda processors (>100mhz) are backward compatible with old ones and also have huge performance only for those apps which know how to use it (video players, audio players, new 3d and other games, etc.). There are apps which are written for old processors, So they do NOT run faster on Z71, since they don't use ARM feature. For such games and programs (such as benchmark) 144 Zire's cpu is just like 40mhz motorola cpu.

Speedy is a new program and uses ARM feature.
