receiving email and images

I've tried reveiving images from my phone to my Tungsten E, but more often than not, it seems to not accept these images. Why is this so? Also, when I try to send these images again, my T/E receives them with no trouble at all.

How do I check or receive email? Can I do it through a Nokia 8250?
And lastly, is it possible to surf the net from my Tungsten E?

Yes you can surf the net from your tungsten E, whether it be through IR on your phone, the Psion IR modem, or through the USB cord (Softick PPP allows for this). You will need a web browser.
