Check www.brighthand.com. They had a news item yesterday as to the new PalmOne models.

I don't really think we'll see a T4 until Cobalt is out. The only thing that the T3 lacks at the moment is wifi and a large battery, but it looks like there will finally be some wifi sd options coming for palm soon and the battery-to-go keeps the power-hungry users at bay. There's just no reason for palm to update it right now. I might eat my words come April 28th though.

Verizon is finally coming out with a big bloated bluetooth Moto maybe mid to late summer. Personally, I'd rather have a small featureloss BT and let my PDA have all the features, but you learn to take what you can get with Verizon.

I love my T-Mobile so I gave up my Sprint for it. Since then I have had no regrets!

That was my understanding, the T4 will have cobalt :)

Grab a T608 on eBay (specs:http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/phone.php?p=228)

And hack it to work on Verizon:

Small similar to the T610/616

There are two low-power SD wifi cards coming. One is from C-guys and I can't remember who makes the other, but they were supposed to have drivers ready very soon. The Power-to-Go is the battery I was referring to.

The other wi fi SD would be from Ambicom. According to their site, the driver for PalmOS would be available Mid April

.... that should be about NOW!!!

Here's the link to Ambicoms site

Well, according to some of the palm news sites, Ambicom are suddenly experiencing Sandisk-like problems with their drivers. Obviously I was wrong to think that SDIO was standard since palm devices seem to be complete misers when it comes to the power output of their SD slots. This is getting old. I hate to say it, but a PocketPC is looking better to me every day.

What, you would put up with a substandard, buggy OS with bad backup options and the requirement for massive resources and a big bulky pda just for Wi-Fi?

I had one of the "Top of the range, you can't beat it" Toshibas... I hated it and swapped it within a week for my 515, which i still use for writing reviews with the thumb keyboard I have.

I use BlueTooth with my T3 if I need wireless.

I know you're asking about new T4's coming out for this month, and you probably know about the two Zire's coming out, but if not, here's the link:

Yes. I've tried both Palm and PocketPC devices and I haven't seen all that much difference between them. They both have pros and cons. They both get the job done. Right now it's just frustrating me to see so many accessories for PocketPC and almost nothing useful for Palm. As for the bad backup options, Palm doesn't come with any for most if not all models so you have to get 3rd party software. If you think all PPC's are bulky, you should check out the HP 1940 or the 4155...they're tiny for what they pack in (smaller than most modern Palms). Don't get me wrong, I love Palm and would love to stick with it; I just think it's rediculous that we have had so many accessories scrapped or postponed nearly idefinitely lately. I don't want to have to buy a new Palm to get new features like Wifi, camera etc.

hi there... not so sure about any photos... but i was at my local pad store yesterday... they seems to be clearing their tt3 with zire bundle or tt3 alone for US345. Acording to the store person... there would be a new t series by the end of the month... any guess...

Kinda sorta.

I have a T608, bug ridden as it is, wireless internet is fun. But it is sprint only.

Hack it to verizon and you can use your t3 or bluetooth palm to dial and send / rec contacts but not internet. The T608 is setup for sprint only in the firmware.
