Relates to the new Clie Organizer on it's TH55...

I like a lot of the features on it and I am sure that it deserves a more capable Palm - the T3!

Anyone any ideas on getting this working on a T3?

Agreed! Sure would be nice to have the design and functionality of the TH55 with the guts of the TT3. Any ideas anyone?

Let's not start this sort of topic ;) It makes me start thinking how I could transfer the screen and camera from the TH55 to the Treo 600...

Specifically I'm interested in the CO AddressBook which has a Contact Photo feature. Looking at the PRCs in Clie Files on the TH55 I don't know which one to copy to the T3.

Not sure you want to do that. CO has some bugs related to alarm setup that causes PDA freezing. It also has some multimedia capabilities that the "crappy T3" cannot handle... :D

you can try getting it on a t3, but let me warn ya- it's hard just to get it ported to another sony device. i've only seen it on a ux, and it was kinda messed up. it anyone gets it to work though, tell us how!

That was my main interest. Actually the best alternative I have found is that the latest version of Agendus actually supports this. So now I have pics on my contacts. :D

Now I want to see this done in case there are other functions worth having.

Now seriously. The T3 appears to be a nice device that appeals to its niche.

However, calling a TH55 "crappy" does not make justice to it. It has several capabilities the T3 does not, one of them the CO. I personally do not use the CO on my TH55 because of a major bug (which seems to be corrected) that freezes the device when the alarm goes off.

On the other hand, I would like to have the landscape mode available in the TH55 for all applications and not just a few.

Aye, that's fair enough!

I have edited my original post - forgot I had written that! :eek: I think it was done before we became one big happy family.

I have looked at the TH55E since and I do admit that it is a nice machine, however the lack of total landscape support and 5 way pad would drive me nuts. :p
