Hi all,
I know there have been earlier lengthy discussions about the best application to use for backing up your Tungsten T3 to an SD card. These discussions usually became very confusing to me, because while many people seemed to advocate either Backup Buddy VFS or BackupMan, there are many other interesting sounding apps like Botzam Backup, Right Backup, CardBackup and VFS Quick Backup. The longer the discussion went, the more applications were mentioned. In the end, I got the sense that it was all a matter of opinion, that there were no objective ways of establishing one application's superiority over any other. Also, some of the information in these discussions seems out of date, like mentions of software like Blue Nomad's Backup Buddy VFS not supporting PalmOS 5.
Has anyone done a recent, good comparative review of these applications?
In the alternative, can anyone suggest any criterion or tests I should consider in evaluating them myself?
Am I correct in assuming that all of the above-named applications do basically the same thing and are suitable for use with a Tungsten T3/ PalmOS 5.2.1?
I'd appreciate your input on this.
Mike
