sync with VPC 5 and OS9.x?

Has anyone tried this combo to see if it will work?

i used to sync outlook using vpc4 and mac os9.x. however, it was a buggy thing at best.

trying to make it work each week caused more reboots (both vpc and mac) than i care to remember. i finally got the best results when i started up vpc without the cradle plugged in. then i would plug in the cradle and wait for the windoze "plug and pray" system to claim the cradle. then with much trepidation i would hit the sync button. i usually got a good sync within the first five tries (with reboots between each one). :(

i have since been freed from the windoh's hell of an office and now only use mac 10.2.4 and desktop 4.0 with missing sync 3.0.4. works everytime (no reboots):D

thanks again. I hope MS will do the job with my old G3 and OS 9. until I upgrade my Mac, hopefully later this year.
