I love audio books. I have tried the Audible software and love it. It allows you to listen to three different books and to maintain your place within each. It also has a great interface.

Unfortunetly, audible only works with...well, audible. Most of my books are .mp3 format and will only play in on my palm real one player.

It seems like such a simple program and Im sure there is one out there, I just cant find it. Its driving me nuts guys.

Also, what is the best site for palm freeware? Everytime I go looking I get all these sites that dont look very professional and charge money.

Thanks for helping a relatively new Zire 71 user, I really appreciate it.

You may want to check out Pocket-tunes, it is an MP3 player for the Palm and allows you to bookmark..

Here is a link to the user's guide where you can read about the product and the bookmark functionality to see of it's what you want..

I'm an aeroplayer guy myself. Ptunes would always turn on in my pocket. While the screen is off, screen taps set it off.

I'm casting my vote for pTunes, it's my favorite MP3 player and they're supposedly working on WMA support. Also, here's a link for freeware:

Hi,

Pockettunes has automatic bookmarking so you can start off on your audiio book right where you left off. Last I looked aeroplayer does not have that.
