Hi there,
Can anyone help?
I have put a document onto Documents to go in Sheet to go form on my Tungsten E.
Obviously any time I want to view this I have to click on the document icon and then select on the file I want.
Is there anyway I can get the sheet to go file I have created as being accessible from the front of my Tungsten E in the form of an icon that I click on and it would bring my file straight up.
Probably sounds small and trivial but I getting frustrated as somehow I've managed to show a seperate icon for the file I want but when I click on it ,it doesn't do anything!
I would greatly appreciate any help
Cheers
Edd

not as far as I'm aware...
I tried creating a shortcut to an excel [docs to go] file from the sd card using zlauncher, but it refused, as it's only a file and not an app...
The only thing I can suggest is that docs to go will bring up the sheet you were working on [if you hit the home button on the palm, without exiting the sheet]
One step there, now we just need someone to see how to open a sheet itself and get docs to go to launch for it...

Here is a way to do what you are asking:
Make sure that the Excel sheet that you want to launch is in you main memory and not on an expansion card.
Using a program like Filez (free and very very good): click on Filez and go to the name of that file in your main memory,
check it by clicking on it
click details
click the attribute tab
on the right side, second from the bottom, you will see a check box for launchable. check it
click save
exit Filez
I remember reading that once as a means to do so. I got everythig to work on my device but the file to launch. So I dont know if I did anything wrong, but that is what I remember seeing. I know that if you use a launcher program lik ZLauncher, then you will be able to make files like that active to click on without all of the above steps.

ZLauncher support a number of different programs (e.g. Wordsmith docs, Splash photo etc.). Documents for these programs can be opened directly in the way you want. Unfortunately, ZLaucher does not support Docs to Go. If you use ZLauncher (or want to use it in the future), you could send an e-mail to the developers. They might be willing to implement Docs to GO support if there is enough interest in it.

If you do this the file will appear as an icon, but you still can't launch it.

I would just do the easy way out like pipesmoker said. Does quick office allow for something like this, or is it all read under one app like Doc's to Go?
