Hey everyone,

I have gleemed a great deal of info from these forums and for that I thank you. Unfortunetly, I am having a problem with my Z71. First, I have mp3's and other things on my SD card, but they do not show up when I goto delete them. They still play(real one), and the memory shows they are there...but I just cant see them to delete them.

Second, How long does the typical hotsync take? Im wondering If I have a hardware problem, or just a patcience problem. For example, Should something that is 120,000kb take an hour?

I would get a cheap card reader if I were you. They cost about $20 and with rebates they sometimes work out to be free.
With a card reader you can search through your folders and organize your mp3's or anything else for that matter. Tranfer rates are alot faster than using your hotsync and you won't have data loss.-Basically, it acts like another drive on your computer.;)

I had seen those but just assumed they were for people with multiple card types or heavy digital photographers. Now that I think of it that makes alot of sense though. good answer.

Try using a program called Card Export from Softick, haven't got the address handy, it is a peice of software that turns the Palm and Cradle into a Card reader! Really hany and fast.

Try a freeware program called FileProg or ZLauncher for seeing files on your Palm.

For me, it took 1 min to transfer about 5MB on a Sandisk card. Maybe your computer is slower, or your brand of SD card has slower write speeds
