Hello,

It looks as though Kinoma has released Version 2.2 of the Player and Producer software. The sound quality is much better in Version 2.2 without increasing the file size. For all future movie trailers, I will be using Version 2.2.

Download Kinoma Player 2.2 (http://www.palmonecity.com/sdownload/fileinfo.php?id=64)

More Information on Kinoma Player 2.2 (http://www.kinoma.com/products.html#player)

Has anybody tried using Kinoma for watching whole movies ? I have had problems of the programme crashing when I have done this. I even tried breaking down the movie into 10 min segments but still had the problem. Just to clarify, I have used the convertor on the original Tingsten E CD.

Also, how much better is the version 2.2 sound. The 2.0 version is very tinny.

Thanks for any ideas.

I have downloaded movie trailers from this site, but the message comes up that the movie contains audio encoded in a format which is not supported on this handheld. My question is how do I get the audio????What did I do wrong.

The 480 x 320 movie trailers were converted for the palmOne Tungsten T3, Sony Clie NX, Sony Clie NZ, Sony Clie UX, and Tapwave Zodiac devices. The aspect ratio fo the video has been not been modified. While there are some movie trailers available in low and high quality, I only plan on converting future movie trailers with the medium-quality setup (1200 kbps). I will take requests for different quality settings based on user response.

The 320 x 320 movie trailers were converted for the palmOne Tungsten C, palmOne Tungsten E, palmOne Tungsten T, palmOne Tungsten T2, palmOne Tungsten T3, palmOne Zire 71, Sony Clie NX Series, Sony Clie NZ Series, Sony Clie TG Series, Sony Clie TJ Series, and Sony Clie UX Series devices. The aspect ratio fo the video has been not been modified. I only plan on converting future movie trailers with the medium-quality setup (1000 kbps). I will take requests for different quality settings based on user response.

The 160 x 160 movie trailers were converted for the palmOne Treo 600. The aspect ratio of the original trailer has been modified. Thus, the video will be stretched slightly in the vertical direction. From the only user that responded, it was better to have the stretched video at 160 x 120 than the original video at 160 x 72. I only plan on converting future movie trailers with the high-quality setup (640 kbps). I will take requests for different quality settings based on user response.

I hope this helps.

Thanks,
Lance
