This is a little something I typed up on the Frodo Project for Palm. The project seemed to go dead after 12/4/03 when I last was in touch with Johan the programmer. Now, I've been involved with the project since the first release and been trying like hell to make this the best application ever. Well now the my ideas and new GUI for these app may take off, I think the tons of users that where so worried about Johan, are now relived like me that he's alive and will continue the project in the coming months, and I can now fire up my old IBM ThinkPad with Linux and start re-compiling the program. :-)
I just thought this would be a good article to post seeing that this man no one barely knew, and yet so many care about his health and well being. It's just amazing how much the world can care about one person...
Thanks.
FRODO C=64 Emu LIVES!!!!
That's right the Frodo Project is still alive, and so is the creator/programmer - Johan Forsberg.
I got say this has to be the most worried about application I've ever seen in the Open Source world. I've been too to help out in the project since it first started, then one day the e-mail and the source updates...STOPPED.
No one heard from Johan Forsberg until night! Johan is still alive and going to continue the project slowly. Really thought I'd bring this up, because I've never seen so many people in the world care about one man for an incredible program! It really is nice to know the world cares... Well, Welcome Back Johan!

1) Paradroid
2) Montezuma's Revenge
3) International Karate+
4) Lode Runner
5) Krakout
I think Paradroid would work well on a handheld.

To install the emu, just install the .prc
The above link describes how to convert the game disk files to a .pdb On my machine, I had to use the Pippin "File|Open" draging the file to the input area did not work. You also need to save the file as just the name of the file you want, Pippin will add .pdb automaticall (even though the UI would not make you think so).
Then you just need to install the .pdb
After that the instructions in the above link explain loading an running pretty well. That is until it comes to actually figuring out how to play the game...
Multi-Disk games (like WasteLand) appear to be a problem. I was not able to run WasteLand.
