I finally got my T3, two days ago at 12.30am at night early Saturday morning. I waited 4 hours to charge it then was up at 5.50am in the morning to play with it. The first thing I did was to attach a screen protector. I am currently stationed in Bosnia, so the only thing I could get hold of is the Palm original screen protectors. The first one I ruined cutting it and the second stayed on. I turned on the palm and the screen is glorious like my old TE.

It is so fast, so much faster then my xda2, I have had no crashes on this yet I have used it heavily and it is so slick. Everyone looks at wants one. I wish I had bought this in the first place opposed to the TE. Never mind. I am o happy, it does all I want and is faster then I need it to be.

I have got agendus 7
Pocket tunes
Monopoly
Scrabble
Solitaire
Chess Genius
Pocket money
Z launcher
Documents to go 6.5
Contacts
WarFare
AvantGo

And more all running of the ram, it is so sweet. I kind of miss the phone combo, but in all honesty as a phone the xda2 was brilliant and it was nice to have all the bits in one. So I have ordered a p900 and will be happy with that. I know I will change the T3 in a few moths I always change technology, a matter of habit, But for now the T3, does all I need and is definitely the best pda on the market if you don’t need wireless. Reference battery life i get about 1-2 days which is better then my TE which only gave me about a day. The palm T gives me about the same, I guess it depend on your uses.

:D

Hi sayem_bashir,
Glad to hear from you, I'm a relatively new T3 owner myself (1 month) and am equally as happy with it as you are. You say you are stationed in Bosnia, what are you doing?

[B]I am actuallu working for Nato, at the moment.

I have just got novii remote and it is brill, works a treat. bejewled is not abd either passes the time away. Just waiting for the navman 4600, it should be here in the next few days, cant wait to play with that. I feel bad for my palm T, bought it a week ago brand new for 76pounds, it is now sat in my draw, doing nothing. Still a good handest, but the T3 is the best.

Yeah, the T3 does Rock.

As regards to JackSprat - only delete the Languages...

PXA Clocker - only use it to slow down the T3 - and not lower than 200 or the grafiti goes a bit mad!

I have used it to delete 11 megs from the rom and put essential progs in their place. Also, my default system speed and most of my apps run at 100MHz all the time with no grafiti or digitizer problems.

11mb rom? wow. i could manage to delete the language and other thing to achieve 8.4 mb rom. and i can't use the system default @ 100mhz, a little bit jerky and slow. so i use 200mhz system default and only some apps @100mhz.

By default system speed I'm just talking about the launcher...I haven't noticed a difference between 400Mhz and 100Mhz for that. I also have my PIM apps and other simple progs set to 100. Games, web, video and anything else that needs processing power gets either 200 or 400 depending on how hungry they are. The fact that we can tweak the T3 in all these deifferent ways just makes this all the more cool a pda...now if they'd just start coming out with more BT/SD accessories!

Hello

I do apologise about the delay in response. Unfortunately the reply is no, as my older brother has been waiting on a list in the UK from January. So I gave it to him. Being in the army and travelling so much I have managed o pick up another for myself. As a phone it works well and rocks in that sense. But as a Pda stinks.

Also back to the palm issue, I’d have to agree most of the programmes don’t take advantage of the 400 speed of the palm. I have recently decided to dabble in producing my own software for my palm; that will work at the 400 speeds and make use of it. The speed though not required would be nice to use even a bit.
