I have a great program idea for use by medical professionals, but I do not know how to program the Palm OS.

You could try the following:

HanDBase + HanDBase Forms - http://www.ddhsoftware.com - This is a great relational database program that allows you to create custom forms, etc. A much quicker route than coding the entire db.

PLUA - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/plua/ = This is a Palm port of the LUA programming language. It is relatively easy to use, with the ability to do all of the coding on the Palm. The support group is great (you must become a member of Yahoo...). The advantages to this is that you get a compiled PRC application rather than just a db applet and it is freeware. You can find version 1.0 at http://www.freewarepalm.com , but the latest version is 1.1b6 (you must join the user group to get it).

Thank you for your posts and interests. I posted this about two weeks ago, and have since been contacted by several potential developers. I have decided to begin working with one and we are in the preliminary phases of development.

Again, I thank you all for your interest and I will let you know how the project comes along.
