Help. Infrared TE to/from laptop ?

I have a Dell Inspiron 7000 laptop and a TE. I can beam files from the laptop to the TE just fine but when I try to beam from the TE to the laptop I get "Could not find a receiving handheld computer".

I have the laptop IR setup per Dell specs (and those I found on the net), if the IR was not correct it would not beam to the TE. (?)

So... how can I get the laptop to receive files beamed from my TE?
