Say you use bluetooth with your PC and your cell phone, or IR and your cell phone. In other words, you use more than one method to get the net.
In cliemail you can create multiple email accounts and each one lets you choose a network pref. So you can simply have the same email address set up and in each account choose a different connection method. This way all you have to do is choose the outgoing email server.
One caution though, if you use the same email in both cases and you check your inbox you'll get duplicates of all the incoming mail.
Also it would be a good idea to check the box that says "leave email on server" in case you want to keep a copy when you check your email on your computer.
