Hello Everyone,

We have a new version of MessagEase keyboard for T3 at http://www.exideas.com. It has a two-month free trial period so you can try it extensively to see if you like it.

It works in BOTH landscape and protrait mode and it enables you to enter EVERYTHING without changing the keyboard mode! You have direct access to more than 120 characters from the keyboard and you can combine characters to create more than 200!

MessagEase keyboard also includes shortcuts and more than 200 macros that can include executable commands (like shortcuts or control characters)! Also, you can enter common editing functions (Copy, Paste, Cut, Undo, Select all, Page Up/Down, etc.) without using menus and directly from the keyboard.

MessagEase uses fewer keys to enter letters and special characters. These fewer keys are bigger, therefore easier to target. You enter most frequent letters with a tap and the rest with a slide. This allows further optimization of the stylus movement, increasing your text entry speed.

MessagEase has been available for other Palm models and Sony Cliés with virtual Graffiti for over a year. It is also available for Tablet PCs with a floating, resizable keyboard that can be put in vertical, horizontal, or transparent mode.

Download and try it today! You have a lot of speed to gain!

I really like MessagEase4T3. I used ME on my Sony T615C and T665C almost since it first became available. The smaller core keypad makes input very fast and accurate, and all the puncutation/symbols you'll ever need are just a slide away. In fact, the most common can be accessed directly from the letter pad. EXIdeas provides excellent tech support. I suggested a color change to help the initial beta match the T3's status bar, and the developer made the change in a couple of hours.

ME4T3 is my personal choice for Palm input.

I agree... I used fitaly for about 3 days, but couldn't get used to the taptaptap endless taping... and the EXTREMELY percise taps at that... Message ease is exactly what it says EASY.... slide and tap, large squares for quick results... not to mention ... very accurate... darn good program! definately give it a try if you are looking for faster/accurate text entry on your palm.

Peace

The home, menu and find buttons are redundant, aren't they?

Both MessagEase4T3 and FitalyT3 have these because of some lesser-known launchers use these buttons as starting points for slides to execute apps. ME didn't have them at first, but they were requested by some of the testers. EXIdeas is working to make these reconfigurable in an upcoming version.
