We are not sure what happened to this thread, but I thought it was worth recreating.

As always, great review, Bob.
A question or two...

You say that the keyboard takes the place of the 3-pane input panel, but is the Fitaly product an actual DIA skin? Can I use it and another DIA skin at the same time?

Have you gotten any response from the developers about the strange duplication of the buttons down the left hand side? I'm really surprised at this. This thing is targeted directly at the T3 market, is it not?

Since the original thread started by Fitaly's maker was deleted, I can't remember exactly the words, but it seems it's a port, not a special development for the T3. It's quite understandable that you can't re-write completely your soft each time a new device is released... additionally, the DIA APIs are still unreleased by PalmOne, so you have to guess how it works..."reverse-engineer" was the word, I think.

Patrick,

Both FitalyT3 and MessagEase4T3 duplicate the Palm silkscreen buttons. Some third-party swipe-type launchers use these buttons to execute apps. ME4T3 didn't have those buttons in its first beta, and some early testers requested their return. Something for everyone, eh? :)

FYI, it seems the thread was deleted by the original author;
something anyone who created a thread can do just by checking the delete box when they edit their thread-starting post....
