View Full Version : NX60 vs. SJ33
What would you reccommend? I know the NX has a Keyboard, 200mhz, and OS5, but are they really worth it over a smaller pda? The OS5 is not that much better, the 200mhz is only needed on os5 and is not really that noticeable and the keyboard is not useful, and just adds size. What would you reccommend?
Sounds like you already have your mind made up:)
I went from a 615 to an NX and love it. Speed is extremely noticable, I do like the keyboard and use it every now and again, the screen is larger which is very very nice. If you are all about the small size then go for the SJ33. If you are more of a power user then go for the NX:)

definitely go with the NX. Tixx has made a lot of good points. OS5 may not seem like much difference at first, but once you have a lot of experience with it you won't believe you were ever able to live without it. Speed is also definitely very noticable. Sure I hardly ever use the keyboard but it is always nice to have. Also the bigger is a very big advantage. If you can't tell, I am a bit biased towards the NX. I love it!

VG, OS5, XScale.... Oh yeah. NX60>>>>>>SJ33 (Although I think the SJ33 is really cool too. Checked it out at CompUSA yesterday).
BTW, 200Mhz XScale and OS5 = much faster picture viewing and much better movie viewing experience.

Well, the NX60 is still ~500 or so and the SJ is ~300. Is it worth the extra hundred to you? To me it is, but if you just need a pda, then you should opt for the SJ. If you want a nice all in one pda, bypass the NX60 and opt for the NX70v instead.

you should be able to get a pretty good deal on the NX since it has been out for about 4/5 months, so it probably won't be much more than the SJ

SJ33 is sexy. But it's a grease magnet. I really mean it.
Not a good PDA if you have sweaty palms lol

Read my NR70 review in the ClieSource Reviews section, for reasons why the clamshell and bigger screen are both big advantages.
