Hi,
Today my T3 is dead after receiving a file I beam from a Clie T665. Even hard reset doesn't respond at all. It just show a screen of color stripes. I have attached a picture of it so that you know what exactly I mean.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Hi,
some people, including me, had something similar happen to them, it seems that there is quite the variety of things that can cause this effect.
There are two things you can do now.
1. If the T3 was fully charged you'll have to wait for up to 5 hours to drain the battery.
2. You open the T3 an disconnect the battery connector to force a reset.
Both options lead to a data loss. Hopefully you have a backup of your data.

Thanks Rolibo for the advice.
My T3 is ok now after 5 hours of battery drainage. The hard reset is working as usual.
Now I need to check out which app is the culprit...

I also had the same thing happen to me. I had already called Palmone and submitted a Repair Ticket (SRO) -- but after reading this post, I decided to put my T3 on the charger and see if anything happened (since the battery had drained well over 5 hours, as "Rolibo" suggested above. So, we'll see if this is the fix. Meanwhile, I have a question for Achoi. What file were you trying to get? Because I think Documents To Go is giving me problems, causing me to crash quite often. I also have a 128 MB SD card -- anyone have problems with those -- I mean, could that be causing crashes?

DocumentsToGo has a known conflict with the updated Security 5.0p app for the T3. If you email DataViz, they will email you back the patch for DTG. I haven't had any problems since applying the patch.

tkuder, I was beaming just a very small PDB file from T665. Not DTG doc. And I've tried the same operation after the hard reset and the problem has not repeated.
Still cratching my head on what causing the problem...
