I am trying to sell my cousin on a T3. I already sold him on getting a Dell 8500 laptop and then a iPod, so now it's time for the T3.

He owns/operates a music venue for live music and such, and he's also the only promoter/booker/manager. He is on his phone all day talking to agents and bookers and bands.

So I showed him all the stock features, and he really liked it. Especially the contact list (he'd probably like Agendus more).

But, he's still not 100%. Does anyone know of any programs that would be essential to someone running a venue business? I did find some software for booking agents and music managers, but he's the other side of the equation.

He also mentioned he has taken Franklin Covey seminars and would love to have that on his palm too... though Agendus might be better than FC.

Any other ideas? I was hoping to find some software for someone who runs a venue, how to plan dates and put in band/performer infomation.. you could use the regular calendar stuff, but I was hoping to find something more fine tuned. I want him sold.

Any awesome programs I haven't thought of I could show him?

Well, it has voicememo - could be handy.
He can also put samples of music to SD card and play back thru the loud little speaker (or headphones) - useful i would think for meetings/reviews?
iSilo or similar would mean he could transform and paperwork to e-book on his palm.

Loooads of options!

Holyoak. LOL

You know. The best revenge is to live better. :D and you can't SHOW him that you're living BETTER if you aren't talking to him.

Just have your T3 out all the time in front of him and HAVE fun. Oh. Don't forget to have a LOT of business stuff on there. Gannt charts, spreadsheets, databases, contact lists (there is one CRM already for the Palm, but no trial downloads, it's a straight shot buy in order to get it, and you HAVE to have MS Outlook as your sync buddy).

But there is lots of stuff. Have fun, show it off, and show that it's indespensible and can do everything. Including a hotsync via BT just for kicks. :D
