I’ve just noticed on my T3 that when I run the Quick Tour (and some other programs) with the slider open my screen flickers and it is very noticeable on the graffiti2 area. But when I open other programs my screen doesn’t flickers. I’ve already tried to hard reset my unit but when I run the Quick Tour (and some other programs) it still flickers. If you have any idea, please help me on this matter.

Some apps, mostly video and some graphics, reset the screen when they load which can look like a quick flicker or two. That's normal. However, if your are saying that the screen flickers while they are running, there's probably something wrong. It could be a bad hardware connection.

tnx bro, less than an hour ago the flickers are gone but after i soft reset it it flickers again and i doesn't flicker before that why i think there's something wrong. by the way here are the list of app the make it flickers:Quick Tour, Billiards, LCD Analyzer, Kinoma,PalmREader, Photos and WebPro.
iam worried coz i know that there is no palm service center here in the philippines.

i've already figured out what happened, when i set my color depth setting to 256 colors some program will flicker and some will not same thing when i change it to 65k colors, programs that does not support this color depth will flicker.
by the way, i still have a question, using speedy, when my color depth is set to 65K colors it will only give me 349-353 Mhz but when it is set to 256 colors it will give me a 375-380 Mhz, so what is the factory default setting of t3's screen color depth?

Just outta of curiosity what app are you using to change the color depth?
My T3 is at 65K always had been as far as I know, and Speedy reports either 375 or 380 Mhz, depending on what the weather is like outside :-)

Landscape inherently tests slower than portrait. Don't know if that's your issue. Lower color densities will always test faster than higher because of the lesser number of bits per pixel.

Did you ever do the PalmOne ROM update? That amongst other things, fixed a CPU speed problem!
