View Full Version : A more custom agenda? more tasks?

Is there a way to get the Agenda to display tasks, perhaps a week in advance? The Agenda is my FAVORITE part of the new palm, but I hate that I can't see my tasks in the agenda until the day of.. I realize I can go to the tasks app, but I'd like to see them in the agenda.

Is there a way to adjust this, or is it hard set? Also, does Datebook5 have something like what i am asking for?

For the Task List portion, it appears to be hardcoded. Further, Tasks that have NOT had a DUE DATE set on them will also not show up (I just tested it, because I thought it would do otherwise).

You're stuck. Your other options will be to use some kind of 3rd party application to do what you're trying to do.

The Calendar application DOES allow for Tasks to show through onto the calendar (I personally don't run with this option, as it annoys me). Unfortunately, for the reason just stated, I can't tell you too much about it.

DateBk5 currently just uses the same functionality as the built in Calendar feature for allowing "Show Through" of the Tasks and Contacts onto your Day View. Powerful app, but may need some "Cleaning up".

For a bonafide TODAY type screen, take a look at these 3rd Party applications.
- Wassup
- Agendus
- Facer
- Today (Freeware)

I don't know about Datebk5 but I know that in Agendus you can set the "preview" time for each to-do from 1 day in advance to "show always" with intervals of 2, 3,4,5 days, 1 and 2 weeks.
I guess Datebk5 has sth similar.

Yes, you can set an advance on a todo in DB5.

Agendus is exactly what I wanted, that program is almost too good to be true. wowowow. I am gonna be buying it immediatley. I can't believe it is so intuitive.
