Hi! I just installed the eval version of mNotes, and everything syncs up just fine EXCEPT Memos. Anyone know how to get the memos to sync? I am using Lotus Notes R5.
When I HotSync, I get the following error message for each memo:
Memo Pad
** An error ocurred whilst sending the item with subject 'Sample Memo' to Notes.
**** ERROR - An unexpected Notes API error occured: File does not exist.
On the Lotus Notes side, I created a database "Notes" using the "Personal Journal" template.
On the Palm side, in the mNotes app, I have the Memo Pad "Replication Type" set to "Slow". I also tried "Forced Slow" but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions?

Well, I figured it out. I went to the mNotes FAQ page at:
http://www.commontime.com/SupportFAQs.asp
and selected the following:
PDA Type: PalmOS
mNotes Version: 3.0.x
Category: Journal
From the FAQ:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to set up Journal/MemoPad replication (Personal Mode)?
FAQ Number: 123
Category: Journal
PDA Type: Palm OS
Cadenza Version: 3.0.x
mNotes can be configured to replicate all documents in a nominated Lotus Notes Journal database to the PDA, where they become MemoPad files. The MemoPad' files on the Palm device also replicate to Lotus Notes and become Journal documents in the nominated Journal database.
You must have an existing Lotus Notes Journal database, or create one, to configure Journal Replication. To create a Lotus Notes Journal database:
1. Open Lotus Notes on your PC.
2. Select File > Database > New to display the New Database dialog.
3. In the New Database dialog box enter the name of the database, for example Journal.
4. In the Template Server box select Personal Journal R6.0, R5.0 or R4 dependent on your version of Lotus Notes.
5. Click OK.
You must configure mNotes to locate the correct Journal database by modifying the control database:
1. Open the control database, cadenza.nsf, by going into Lotus Notes and using File > Database > Open then scrolling down to the Cadenza folder, opening that folder and then opening the control database
2. In the control database, click the Profiles view in the left-hand pane
3. Click your profile in the right-hand pane
4. Click on Edit to open it
6. Select the Databases section
7. Expand the Journal subsection
8. In the Database field enter the Lotus Notes Journal database filename including its path (if any) relative to the Lotus Notes Data folder
9. If the Journal database is Local, leave the Server field blank
10. Save the changes and close your profile and the control database
To set up the Palm device:
1. Go to Home > mNotes
2. Tap on the menu in the top right corner and choose Edit Locations...
3. On the next screen, again tap the menu in the top right corner and choose Replicate
4. On this screen, select the checkbox for MemoPad and tap Done
