I downloaded a couple docs marked as "ebook" from an EDU site that have an extension of .lit.

Palm Reader, or any of this type of software I have does not recognize the extension. Are these most likely a pdb file that could be renamed?

Thanks

No, these files can be read by Microsoft Reader, not availale for the PalmOS.

There is hope! Use a program called ConvertLit found here (http://www.convertlit.com). I used it to convert a number of lit files I used on my PPC to html. I then used isilox to convert them iSilo format. Works a treat!

Good luck.

How do you get them to html? I use 98SE and clit1.5 produces a file, when I go into MSDOS and follow the readme. But I cannot find out what to do with the file I produce. It doesn't put any extension on it and I don't know how to figure out what extension it uses.
