I have a T2 and was wondering whether anyone had found a workaround to make the Nokia 6600 work with GPRS over Bluetooth. There isn't a Phone Link driver for the 6600 yet.

I've tried all the usual things like substituting the 6310i and 3650 drivers and have managed to get the bluetooth paired and even managed to get the GPRS to make a connection, but it won't actually download anything, either e-mail or webpages.

Everything else is definitely OK as the process worked seamlessly with my old Siemens S55 (for which there was a driver).

Any ideas (other than wait)?

Use the Standard GSM Driver Configure your Network, Connection, Network and Bluetooth Connection.

Or

In the Connection Preference: select New
Name: Put whet ever name you want
Connect to: Select Blue Tooth
Device: Pair it up with you 6600
Turn on your 6600 bluetooth, when prom for a password, key in any 4 digit number, your handheld will ask for the same 4 digit number to pair your 6600. Once established you had added your phone in the trusted device.
Model: Standard GSM

Phone Preference: Select the Name of the New Connection you had made.

Bluetooth Preference:
Bluetooth: Select On
Device Name: Select the Paired Phone or the name of your phone in the trusted device
Discoverable: Select Yes
Connnection: Select No

This would do the Trick.

Yet if you want to use you 6600 as your modem to send or recieve E-mails you have to contact your Cell Phone Network Provider for details.

NOTE: Even with these modification or with the right N6600 phone driver you can Retrieve or store SMS via Bluetooth. Nokia 7650 or 6600 models are not compatible

Thanks for the suggestion, but unfortunately this doesn't allow a GPRS connection. Thanks for your help though.
