View Full Version : Migration to and fro -- Clie / T3

Ok this question is for all those Clie, and T3 owners.
I have a T3 which replaced my NX80v.
I recently wanted to use my NX80v and needed to move my Calendar / Datebook over, or copy it from my T3 to my NX.
Well it did not work.
It appears the T3 changes something when it is imported from the other OS5 / Desktop Clies.
Can anyone tell me how I can migrate my addressbook, and datebook over from my T3 to my NX80v???

You might try the export function of the palm desktop... be sure to choose the entire set or you will end up exporting one address at a time. Good luck...

I have tried to export the datebook but when I import it into the Sony Desktop the Clie datebook will not sync.
I have to over write with the handheld.
This does not make cense.

Sorry to be so dull here, but you are attempting to sync both Sony and Palm units and have them communicate with each other at the desktop level? Hum... I would have thought that either would have killed the USB drivers of the other. What about pointing each to Outlook and using something like Pocket Mirror? Else, beam comes to mind, painfully...

Actually if you use the "Beam Category" feature then it's not so painful 'cause you can beam the "All" cateogry and that will take care of everything.

No I only wanted to update my NX80v with my complete datebook as well as my addressbook.
I have found times when I need to use the NX80v vs the T3.
I just cant seem to understand why I cant just copy the data over and sync.
I have tried to import and copy and past form one PC to another.
Oh yeah each PDA sync's on a different PC so I dont have the Sony / Palm desktop userID colliding issues.
