Hand that pops up during focus?

Hey what does that white hand mean when it pops up during a focus. It happens when you press the capture button half way before taking a shot.

Maybe it's telling you it needs more light or it's a warning to hold the camera steady because of a slow shutter speed. I don't have an NZ90, but I do have some Sony cameras.

Thats an easy one. It means don't hold the camera. Or don't move. camera shaking will cause blurry pictures. You tend to get that with low light. which is any light not in bright sunlight. :)
