Avoid double appointments

Short explanation:

make an appointment on palm desktop at 5th december
Synchronise
Look at appointment on T|E
Change on desktop from 5th to 6th december
Sync again
Log says I have same appointment on 2 different dates, will keep them both....(this is exactly wat i DONT want)
Now i have same appointment on 5th and 6th on desktop and palm....


At my work we have also several M130's, and they don't have this problem....


Custom is set as'Synchronise destop and palm' for datebook...

Now i have been forced to set it as Desktop overwrites handhel to avoid double appointments, but the result is that every appointment I make on my device will be erased after a hotsync (which is normal)


This is the 3th plave where I explain my problem, some people say this is normal, but I can't believe it....

There is absolutely no way that what you are describing is NORMAL. There is something wrong with your Hot/Sync conduit. Have you reported this problem to Palm Support? My experience with them has been very good. Their response is timely and they can usually provide you with some troubleshooting tips, if not a solution to the problem.
