Is there some kind of provision for charging an extra battery for the NZ externally? It seems foolish if you have to switch batteries and then wait for a few hours to use it.
Thanks

And the sonystyle site is "helpful"...Do you charge it in the NZ, remove it, put in battery 2, charge and use it while battery one is stored waiting to be used? My phone is the same way, oddly enough, it's a sony ericsson. Hummm

Sony would be wise to market a drop in charger. Getting up in the middle of the night to switch batteries while charging in the NZ is NOT an option.

I agree. why make a removable battery and not have a cradle or something similar to charge the extra battery in while using the 1st battery? i dont get it.

That does suck. kind of takes away the avantage of having removable batteries if you have to charge them in the clie. I am sure a charger could easily be made by a 3rd party. There are enough of them making them for cellphones.

Since these are Smart Lithium batteries, Sony could make a charger similar to the ones they make for camcorder batteries that show amount of charge and time left to fully charge battery. Something that could charge multiple batteries at one time?
