You need to exagerate the left part of the stroke. Down a bit then long to the left.

Hi JSK945!
Glad to hear that we all have the same problems ;) I would second Bryus. And don't focus on writting a ",", then it will come to you easily :) Took me quite some time, too.

A comma is the hardest character in G2.
Here's how I used to make mine-- I created a shortcut (the upside down cursive l) +c which would make a comma.
Now thoug, I given up grafitti and am using fitaly. Not has my writing speed increased, but it is a great application launcher as well.

In addition to an exaggerated left stroke after a short down one, you also have maintain a pretty constant pressure on the digitizer during the maneuver. You're probably getting two characters because you're letting up your stylus pressure part way through the letter.
I've given up G2 for MessagEase4T3 (http://www.exideas.com/), which increased my speed and accuracy considerably. It supports macros and makes a ton of punctuation/symbols available at one stroke--features I use heavily. ME also works both in portrait and landscape modes. FitalyT3 (http://www.fitaly.com/) is also a quality G2 replacement, but only works in portrait at the moment. That isn't much of a limitation, though, as I only use landscape for picture viewing. I used FitalyT3for a while when it first hit the market in December. The choice between them is a matter of personal taste, so I recommend trying them both. Both have learning curves, so give each a week or two of trial before settling on one or the other.

My biggest problem has been with the H. I can not get an H for the life of me. Any advice.

I find G2 a mixed blessing - I like the fact you dont have to shift much, plus the capitals area, but really *hate* any character involving more than one stroke!! (i,t,k argggggggh). I love G1's k, t and I, as well as a simple backwards V. I founmd all the old strokes I found easy in G1 have become hard!
So I've started using teal script, which means for the most part I can use some of the old and some of the new (such as the capitals area, or the @ symbol without shifting) customizing as I see fit. However, you still need to do some shifting. On the other hand G2's stupid: *shift*character*unshift* for some outliers is even worse than single shifting.
Hi everyone, Just a quick note to let know about this freeware called Quicktype: http://quicktype.sourceforge.net/?Introduction
I too became fed up trying to learn G2 and in the end I found that I was using the onscreen keyboard most of the time.
That led me to thinking about some kind of Hack that would allow me to use the graffitti area as a virtual keyboard and hence save screen space.
After googling a bit I finally found Quicktype. The OS5 version is in beta at the moment but I'm using it on my TE with no problems (fingers crossed).
Have fun ;)
