Phone Link Updater problems and Web Pro

Hi. trying to use my T3 with Web Pro and SE T610.

Firstly, the recent phonelink updater from PalmOne crashes everytime after I choose my carrier (OPTUS GPRS in Australia). I tried choosing other carriers and countries but it always crashes - anyone else had this problem? Palm One says it is "because of a third party application" but I think thats hogwash - its a NULL handle error, usually local to the program IMHO.

But then, I CAN get the phone to dial, send SMS, and even connect when WebPRO runs (accepts the password as says its connected).... but then don't get any websites...justs sits and huff an puffs and...

Just talk to my GPRS provider?

Any other ideas? Any other T3 Aussies with Optus??

Check that you have disabled authentication in your phone, see this thread; http://www.palmonecity.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2378

It's a little different in the T610 from P800, but in some networks, you need to set authentication to "Disabled" in the SE phones to make it work.

I had similar problems, but in my case I had 2 instances of the phone drivers which caused a conflict. I deleted both files and reinstalled the drivers and it worked fine.
