1. I see lots of you are big fans of the Zlauncher. Please explain to me...why? what does a program like that do, that makes it so special? I have added no launching system to my palm, and wonder if I should. so...why the raves?

2. Does anyone use a security program that they enjoy? I don't need anything major. Just a simple "if-someone-picks-it-up-they-can't-use-it" kind of program. But then again, I don't want it to be a nuisance. Suggestions?

3. What do I need to put some music on my palm? Can someone direct me to a how-to so that I can get started with that? Once you have a few tracks on your palm, can you listen to them while using your applications?

thanks so much for your help!!

Hi Kathy

I'm gonna leave #1 alone, but if you really want to get the lowdown on what Zlauncher does, grab a copy of the manual a cup or two of coffee and give it a read. :)

As for #2 have you checked out the security that comes with the Palm?? might fit your needs and you've already bought it.

As for music, there are a few players, check out the Pocket-tunes website and their online manual it should give you a good overview of what need to be done ( as far as Pocket-tunes goes) the others (AeroPLayer, RealPlayer, etc are similar)

That's a start....

#2 - check out Viskey. Instead of putting a password in, you tap at user-specified points on a photo. I showed it to a friend who also has a Tungsten and he didn't have a clue how to even begin to get into my machine.

You can also set it so that after 3 goes at breaking in to your machine, the machine gets a hard reset, so they can't nick your info anyway (of course this is only good providing you keep a regular backup away from the Palm).
