This is more or less a plea to the experts out there. I have been reading articles on using your cell phone as a wireless modem for your PDA. Most of thesites are dated, but seem applicable still.
Example: http://www.geocities.com/daveinfopage/palmpilot_sprintpcs.html
The only connnection is the HotSynch cable and a "null moden adapter". I use a Samsung A620/VGA1000 Phone for which you can purchase a "data transfer cable" here:
http://www.thesupplynet.com/ or here:
http://www.boxwave.com/products/minisync/samsung_vga1000.htm
My question is: " once you have the two usb "male ends, can you simply connect them with an adapter such as this:
http://www.connecttech.net/product_info.php/products_id/685?osCsid=0d5c7c55945da06c7c7f893dcae080ff
or some other combination there in?
Does it need to be cables with a 9pin serial end with a "null modem" adapter in between?
Just looking for answers before I start playing around!
Thanx
