I want to connect my T2 and Zodiac via BT to my SE P800. I set it up using generic GSM profie, and the test to the phone works, but when I want to connect via network connection, it asks for a phone number. I don't think the phone uses a phone number to get to the net, it just connects via GPRS. Anyone have any ideas?

Woohoo!! 1st post!

Try to enter the phone number *99#, if that doesn't work *99***1#. Try to change 1 to 2,3 etc, depending on how many connections you have set in the P800.

Also; check the setting in the P800 under Control Panel/Connections/Internet Accounts/[your GPRS connection]/Edit/Advanced/Other and make sure that Authentication is set to "Disabled".

I don't have the english OS in my P800 so I can't check the exact words, but I guess you will figure it out.

This, setting authentication to "none" helps in all Ericsson/Sony Ericsson phones, not only P800.

I used to own a P800 too and was able to pair the device with my T3 but never able to use the gprs functionality as it is not supported in the phone link drivers. After I sold it however, I read somewhere that after you pair the device you can use the other SE drivers such as for the T610 to connect and use the gprs functions. I actually tried that with no success, but they might have been using the updated phone link drivers. I believe, I read the post in Brighthand and sure you can find it with search.
