After getting one of these for Christmas I put away my Franklin Covey planner, which is now collecting dust. Wondering if there's an enhanced calendar, including secular and religious holidays, that can be purchased or downloaded. (Would prefer to avoid F-C, which was good but overpriced IMHO; PalmStore folks less then helpful on this.)

Welcome to our community:)

As for pre-fab calander holidays you can do a search on plamgear with the keyword holiday and will get back a ton of entries. It all depends on what you're looking for, some are free, some are not. As for enhanced datebooks that also is subjective. The two biggest are Datebk5 and Agendus7. Again it depends on what you prefer. personally I like the look and feel of Agendus to help me be more organized.

Again, Welcome and Happy Hunting:D

Again, Welcome.

It depends on how you organize your day. Agendus7 and Datebk5 are the big hitters in this game. If you organize your day around email and contacts then Agendus Pro is the way to go. If you are more task oriented with attending a lot of meetings, Datebk5 is the one I would recommend. Please download both and run each through the entire trial period. That will save you from choosing the wrong app. I have used both extstensively.

Try this free solution for an enhanced calendar.

I just downloaded it, and it seems pretty cool. Even if it does not have everything in it under the sun, it is FREE. Check it out

As for holidays, if you go into Outlook to sync with your palm, it has an option to add all US holidays to your calendar. This is what I did, and any other holidays that you may have, you can enter by hand. At least a big chunk of holidays would be done automatically.

Thanks, all, for your welcomes and your recommendations. I feel ... connected. Will try a couple of these.

w/agendus, u also get enhanced versions of email software, todo, address, as well as datebk. That costs $40 (forgot which version). For Datebk5, u only get the a datebook enhanced app, but it only costs $25. Choose the one you need and can spend the cash on, also noting the diff betw the 2 mentioned by that another poster.
