i just want to know the differences between t1, t2 and t3, i heard that its only memory and screen pixels. But are there programs that can be run on t2/t3 that cannot be run on t1? and if you have to choose - a brand new zire 71 or a used tungsten t1? tnx

Hi,
the sreen on the Zire, T2 and T3 are a lot better and brighter than on the T.
I don't think that there are application that work on one and not on the other (as long as they are not programmed close to the hardware).
If I had to choose between a Zire and a T, I would probably pick the Zire for the display and the T for the bluetooth.
Maybe you should consider the T2.

The original T used the old backlighting which was pretty weak. Compared to it's contemporary Sony T615C, it was dim!
In terms of memory, T1 = 16M RAM, T2 = 32M RAM and T3 = 64M RAM (minus space used by system - so the T3 has about 52Mb RAM usable).
The Zire again has many in the series from 21, 71 etc, so you need to be a bit more specific on the model.
I suggest that you have a look at the palm.com website to compare the different PDAs. http://www.palmone.com/us/products/compare/
Cheers!

In fact he was specific.
He is talking about the Zire 71. My first reply is referring to the Zire 71, too.
