First time purchaser of a PDA. I did a lot of looking, trying to find the PDA that best met my needs and I found that with the SJ 20. I use to lug a huge day planner around but now I'm free and "un-encumbered"! For price and power this is a top notch machine. In Canada it usually retails at $299 and but can now be easily found everywhere for $229.

On the recommendation from this board I also order the Innopocket metal deluxe case. I've never seen any other cases so I can't compare others but I'm impressed with this one. Fits snug and very clean finish. I probably won't be taking it in and out of case to access memory stick storage though. When and if I get a stick I will leave it in the CLIE. I don't think it's good to un-neccessarily take it in and out of case.

Thumbs up to both SJ20 and Innopocket case!

I like the Innopocket metal cases too. I have the SJ30 and the Innopocket Flip Top case (http://www.innopocket.com/EShop/Main/product.php?ID=60&name=Sony) - it is perfect.

The side-hinged model doesn't securely hold my clie enough to warrant a thumb-up so I sprang for a flip-top one which has the oem style plastic clip. The flip-top won't damage your PDA if you remove it as much as I do.

Agree Porkfat, mine is the flip stop style. Great if yo9u are either left or right handed.
