View Full Version : SJ30 or wait for SJ22?

This will be my first PDA. I can get the SJ30 at a local Best Buy for $180, but I'm wondering if I should wait for the new SJ22. It looks like it may be a few months before it comes out, though.

I'm wondering the same thing. There's a rumor that the sj22 is coming out in 6 days. Can't confirm this though. It seems to me that the 22 is a suped up 30 in shiny plastic clam casing. All for $199 USD. Not sure how this is possible...

Same here. But most of the time, when Sony is about to release a new model, they would usually have it for pre-order for about 3 weeks or so, but the SJ22 is supposed to be out in 4 days, and there's still nothing on the Clie site... and with the silver SJ30 becoming rare where I am, i have to decide quick, or else i'll have to get the white SJ30 with the pink buttons! *yuck* (they don't sell the black one here)

I think im gonna wait for the SJ22. Even though Sony just lowered the price to something like $220

I'm starting to wonder if the SJ22 is indeed color...

Just doesn't make sense to me for them to offer a device this nice for that price...

Anybody else get this feeling?

My brother bought it for me at that buy a month ago. Best buy was offering a $50 rebate at the time. I don't think they are anymore.

6 days?? Where did you hear that? I've been hearing around 14th April.

Well, it probably doesn't matter whether to choose the SJ30 or the SJ22 because as i understand so far, they are basicly the same thing.

As the SJ30 is out of production, and the costs of a SJ22 are so much more less than a SJ30 when it first came out.

Oh man, Sony's going to beat the heck out of Palm...
