I'm looking for some software recommendations. Here's the deal: I'm going to be travelling back and forth between the US and a few different European cities over the course of the Spring and Summer.

I already use and own WorldMate and love it. What I'm looking for is recs on other helpful travel software.

Fortunately, two of the cities I'm going to are covered by LonelyPlanet CitySync. I'll thus have two less travel books to carry -- but I'm not so psyched that they need to run off internal RAM.

Any help/advice is welcome. I'd particularly love the advice of trendy Euros on what you use to make your lives easier and more PDA-efficient!

TIA :)

not sure exactly what you are looking for but how I think so kind of map software would be helpful. mapopolis and tomtom are both good map apps. I have heard tomtom is the best for europe. Also I think some kind of translator would be helpful if you don't know the language very well. I haven't used a translator yet but I know bdicty and msdict have a lot of different choices. Thats all that I can think of right now. hope that helps.

Both good ideas. I really don't want any apps that soak up alot of RAM, so some kind of stripped down phrasebook might be good. I think BDicty is a full-fledged language translator though.

My goal, as always, is not to carry books with me. :)
