Greetings,

I just got the Sony CA100 case for the NZ90, and I'm frankly not quite sure what to think about it. For one thing, it's huge! The dimensions are approx. 5.25" x 7.5" x 2" - much bigger than the NZ90 itself. It's a somewhat hard shell case, which is good. There's enough room in this thing to store every possible NZ90 accessory and then some.

Overall it's an interesting departure from the form-fitting cases that are predominant today.

I was going to get that one but its not on the UK sony site.

Instead I got the CA80 and I am hoping it will fit. Its a very nice case though!

Also Sony have put back the date of release from today to the 6th march

Actually, I had the CA80 case for a while, and I'm afraid it really doesn't fit the NZ90 very well. You can squeeze it into the case and close the velcro flap, but it's a super tight fit, and it ends up looking like someone who's trying to squeeze into a t-shirt that's three size too small. In the end my conclusion was that the case itself wouldn't last long under the stress, and it was too hard to pry the NZ90 out of the case once it was in.

Sorry about that!

Could you send me some pictures of that Sony case? I'm looking for a somewhat protective type case for my NZ that includes slots for credit cards, a pen/stylus, and accessories. I'd also like a shoulder strap. Does the Sony case include all that?

Just realized that my old IOMEGA Peerless velcro slip cases is an alsmot perfect fit for the NZ and they are nicely padded on the inside.

i use the CA80 case, which is sony's sporty style one.

It took a while but now it fits in OK after some stretching. the CA100 case is a bit to big for me.

The CA80 works very well - though it takes a few days to loosen up. Helps if you attach the lanyard to the NZ90 to give you something to pull on. I've had the case for a little over a week now and it's a great interim solution, not ugly, and not grossly expensive.

Thanks! I'm using the CA80 now. Hammer6 is right though. you need to have the lanyard to make it easier to pull the clie out of the case. But otherwise, it is nice and snug and i can slip some MSs into the slot in front.

Hi. Could you please post some pictures of the PEGA-CA100? I've been scouring the net for pictures of the case, but EVERY site that I've been to shows the same picture... The one on Sony's site. If it's not too much to ask, could you please post pictures of different views of the CA100 (laying open on it's back so we can see it's insides & laying on it's insides so we can see the front and back). Thanks so much.

SonyStyle says that it's compatible with all of the CLIE's. Does it use velcro to attach smaller CLIE's such as the SJ33? Thanks

I'd like to see more pictures of the CA100 too. The only picture of it I can find is the same one Sony has on SonyStyle.

Actually I think the opposite. At first it was a bit tight, but it didn't take long to loosen up a little. And its nice to have a layer of protection.
And it is a really nice case. It looks so much better than the ca100, with its sport styling ....
